I have flown 2 more flights, same route, (CYEG-CYYJ) using activesky (live weather) with the crash happening at a similar distance from the runway. (nearing the NDB) The difference is; the first flight was to runway 27, as originally flown, and the …

"Unfortunately, we should have the same problem." XinLv, It is a good thing, that more than one person reported the problem. With the information given, Kroswynd has been able to replicate the issue. Now finding a solution may not be easy, but it…

Thank-You, Boss.

Kroswynd, your crashing is great news. Hopefully, a cause and solution can be found. Regards, Craig

@Boss FDR data enclosed. I flew a short flight from CYVR to CYYJ without any issues. At this point, I can not say that it is a Q400 issue alone. I was using Activesky, EZCA3, AI Separation, FSC9.x. I have used these add-ons with the Q400 Pro for s…

Adding a copy of the flight plan I used in the above scenario. Included both P3d and Q400 formats.

I just "completed" a test flight of the same route and got the same result. Here is a zip file containing the relevant situation files saved at the point of "impact". I did use the FDR for a short duration of this flight up to the point of the mi…

You're welcome.

@ Kroswynd, @ XinLv, You may be on to something. I was on final (4.4nm) to rwy 27 at Victoria Int'l. CYYJ, lowered the landing gear and WHAMMO! The aircraft lurched like it had hit a concrete wall. The screen shot I've included doesn't show m…

@awf, I hear you. I am also fed up with Just Flight. Higher prices for minimal service. But, since this is the final piece of the Q400 puzzle, I would advise waiting 'til Monday, to purchase the Q400 training upgrade. I do know that this will b…

This is awesome news, Kroswynd. A very BIG Thank-You, to the entire Majestic team for "sticking to your guns", and keeping the dream alive. The countdown has begun. ;o) Cheers, Craig

Hi Daniel, and Reinhard, The following lines should only be set to zero, when you are using the 125hz control system. ; Flight Controls positions from FSX ElevatorsByFSX=0 AileronsByFSX=0 RuddersByFSX=0 Daniel, something you may want to …

Since you are using P3dv4, the CPAN should work with the sim running. Be sure to run the CPAN as an admin. As for an entry for the HUD in the .ini file, I do not have one in my .ini file either. Although the I am able to add/remove the HUD with the …

Hi DavidQ400, As you are saying that the pushback is finishing before the Q400 "takes off". I originally thought that a control conflict may be the issue. Now I am not so certain. Since GSX works by putting the Q400 into slew mode to enable th…

Hi cmbaviator2, You have a controller conflict. Your throttle controller may have been auto assigned to the aileron, elevator, and rudder by P3D. Check your engine control axis' assignments in the P3D controls menu. Jax

You're welcome, Steve.

@SteveC, As Kroswynd said, we do have to use the CPAN for refueling but GSX does recognize the amount of fuel that is in the tanks. In order for the fuel truck to refuel the plane, it needs room in the fuel tanks. If you already have your T/O Fuel…

@ Freddy, I have to say "Great job" in trouble shooting this issue. It is something that has plagued me in the past. What I figured out in my situation was; If you are using a Nvidia GPU, a fresh install of the Nvidia drivers will sometimes ch…

Blazer05 quote when I attempt to take off - the plane pulls so hard to the left that it immediately leaves the runway and moves left are about a 25degree pull. Steering hard right and full right rudder does nothing.< This sounds lik…

Hi Bob1, As I understand it the JSBSim flight model used in the Q400, is a stand-alone program. It does not use, or require the use of the default (in sim) flight dynamics modeling, whether it is FSX, P3D, or MSFS. That being said, It is possible th…

Any improvements by MS to the flight dynamics is really a moot point. As the Majestic Q400 sits right now, in P3D, it does not use the internal FDE, instead using the JBsim FDE. I would hope that Majestic hold to that form going forward into MS's la…

Santa, what I really, really want for Christmas, is to have the the Q400 send haptic feedback through the direct input api of P3D, to an haptic enabled controller. (aka, force feedback). It would be really cool to feel the effects of flying through …

Hi Keenrw, I have a suggestion, check in the Q400 ini folder/file to see if the "auto rudder" has been set to on. Be sure to double check your simulators settings, as you will find an "auto rudder" setting in there too. The ini file should rea…

Yes. It's a bit of a selfish request, as I sometimes like to do multiple legs using a particular airline routing, and am often called away before I can complete said legs. It's the giant nerd I have inside. Thanks for the response, Kroswynd. Sta…

Most airplane lovers are aware that the dry operating mass varies from aircraft to aircraft, among the same type. My suggestion would be; having the possibility of having the DOM of an "individual" aircraft, being saved in an ini file according t…

Just guessing; it sounds like an ADC failure.

You just have to click the "vehicle" tab, then, in the drop down window, move your mouse cursor over "instrument panel", and the list of panels should be displayed. It is then only a matter of moving your mouse down the list to the Q400 V-speed gaug…

Since we are in a simulator; Lets assume the airport is at or near sea level, the temperatures are above 20C, the aircraft landing weight is 57000 lbs, flaps 35 degrees, the chart shows VRef=116 kts. During a go-around, the pilot would immediat…
