Hi Frank,
The only Flybe that I have is the Part B4 - Operations Manual - Volume 1.
I have something from MALEV but it is not as ellaborate as Flybe and I believe you have that Flybe Manual ; if not I'll send you a link to download.
I am the same, I was flying the Flybe, Autrian and Air Baltic routes and, unfortunately eitheir the Airlines or the Q400 disappeared.
There is still LOT which has some interesting routes as the Polish airports have been well designed in P3D so I carry on flying the old routes.
Have a nice day,
JP

Hello John, I think it is because the radios of our Q400 do not use the 8.33 spacing that we have in Europe. However if you tune on 122.025 you are able to listen to the destination ATIS. What I do not like with ASN is the visibility in 1/10th…

Hello JvanE, Just flew to ENTO Rwy 18 VNAV from ESOK DCT VATEX FL80 and followed the STAR VATE2S 3000 Ft by IBSAT then DTO UNVID. Just arm the APPR, no need to ACTIVATE. The APPR does not ARM automatically, you have to ARM it yourself but it A…

Well done Rondon 9898. Your analysis regarding the VNAV is very interesting and it is true than in Europe we do not use it so much but as it is only the baro VNAV that we can use presently, I do not like too much as I explained before. LPV loo…

As soon as you see MISS APPR, usually after passing the IAF, and before to start the descent on the G/S you click on the LSK. If you enter it when you have started your descent on the G/S it is then that it could disconnect the VNAV and go into P…

Hello JvanE, Regarding the TOD when you are in cruise, the FMS would give you the TOD but ATC could say differently due to traffic. It is good practice to request descent a bit earlier than shown on the FMS and personnally I prefer to follow the …

Hello Craig, From a RW Q400 operator they say that we should enter an altitude of at least 200 ft below the current altitude so I assume that 500 ft should be OK and an easy figure to calculate. I did not find any way to have the App activated…

Hello Craig and John, Being an oldtimer I am not a big fan of the VNAV and I prefer the ILS or VOR App but as this is becoming the way for the future I have to adapt to the new technology. Regarding the BARO RNAV, I do not know how to make vid…

I am not sure that MJC can distribute legally the official documents from Bombardier so we have to use what we can collect ourselves. Anyway the D8400-APM is an official Bombardier document. We'll see the comments from Kroswynd about that matter. …

I gave a link in a previous above post and you have these tables available there. Go to Chapter 3 - pages 67 to 84. I do not know for along they would be available on the Internet as usually these informations are quite restricted but I just c…

Hello, It happens from time to time and it was discussed in the old forum. I am not sure we can do nothing about it as it appears to be a bug but it happens only once to me over 1000 hours of flying with the Sim. Otherwise you could have the rand…

Hello dlrk, To implement these into the FMS would be quite consuming for the devs and, to me anyway, I do not see the point as you could do these calculations quite easily. It is the same for the speeds, leaflets are already provided. I never …

Hello, Available on the Internet: Request : "dash 8 series 400 airport planning manual". You'll have plenty of information regarding the TOFF and LDG distances in respect of Altitude, OAT and Weight but you have to use the graphs instead of e…

Hi, I confirm that from the graphs, at minimum weight (18 to 20 Tonnes) you need 1060 m to land. The usable distance length Rwy 05 is 850 m and Rwy 23 824 m, apparently you cannot make it. Also it appears that the acft allowed to use ENHF are …

Hello Simeon, When I move the 2D panels from the main monitor (left) to the second (middle) or third (right) at anytime during this I get a CTD. I never manage to have it working but, please keep in mind, I am not very good with computers. As …

Hello, A bit of topic as I do not have P3D but FSX. I noticed as well than when using 2d panels with 3 monitors it crashes. So we'll have to wait for the TRAINING. Otherwise with 3 monitors and VC it works beautifully. Regards, JP

Hello Diama, You are right. Regarding the distance for the Arc, I put 55 instead of 45 as the result of my calculation and now I get the same result as you do. The input to the UNS is coming from the AIRAC supplied by NAVIGRAPH and I do not kn…

As far as I made it out the real distance appears to be 135 Nm. How do you find 124 Nm?
-
Hello Diama, To me it does not look too bad. GBYD to D18 DS = 64 Nm Intercept of the arc DME = around 2 Nm Arc DME from 348° to KOSOM = 55 NM Kosom to GOBD = 14 Nm Total = 135 Nm Regards, JP
