Out of curiosity, on the System Tab within your CPAN, what are your "Quality" and "Refresh Rate" settings?
-
Ok as mentioned the cold and dark panel state will have the GPU connected to the aircraft. The other two panel states can been executed via the CPAN (Flight Config Tab), once selected, click APPLY and then, you MUST RE-LOAD the aircraft (not the si…

Within you EFIS section of the mjc84.ini you will have to set the switch to 1 to enabling both altimeter settings to be sync'd [EFIS] ; 1 to syncronize pilot and copilot side altimeter settings PFD_QNH_SYNC=1 Cheers

This seems to be a sporadic event for some users, not quite sure why in all instances. However, can you attempt loading a default P3D aircraft, and then load the Q400 to see if that may make a difference. Not sure what panel state you are using …

Thank you for your input, along with the accompanying information for oil temp operation. Your "source" of information regarding its former working status is correct as we are aware that it did work differently previously as well. We will be loo…

Well, believe it or not, I had the pleasant or unpleasant (depending on how you look at it) experience of this a few evenings ago. Still not able to pin point the cause, apart from the fact that it was the first long haul flight (2:45) I had done i…

Thanks for the observation, we'll have to re-check if there was a limit implemented. The real UNS does have a limit, but I do not think that it is that low. However exceeding the allowance should not be causing a CTD. I'll add this to the potenti…

Disengaging the nose wheel steering switch prior to takeoff roll is not necessary as the nose wheel steering system becomes disabled when the airspeed exceeds 40 knots during the takeoff roll. Now, we could have a look to see if there is a correlat…

Well, I managed to pull the latest release of Little NavMap and built a flight LPPT/LPMA and had it exported for the Dash format ".FPR", had no problems. Since the latest update keep us posted if there are any further CTDs and more so if you are ab…

Interesting, as this was an issue that somewhat has been not been much of a topic lately. So you are only noticing this at the default P3D airport which is KVPS I think. Does it happen if you go to another P3D default airport?

One of the causes that we MJC have found that can be attributable for bouncing in some cases (most actually) is if the mesh resolution slider within the simulator is set above 5m. Kindly give this a try and let us know if it makes a difference …

Having checked your issue, the FMS is not really "locked-up" its performing a search to see which SIDs are applicable for the chosen runway. In my case it took about 20 - 25 seconds to populate the data (this could take longer depending on your sy…

Not quite sure what the issue would be since the FP is converted via Little NavMap. I would suggest reaching out to the developer with this issue initially, and if there is anything that we can do on our end to help rectify the issue he is more tha…

It is a switch that is in place for intended use with the REX weather radar, but there are some incompatibilities with the Q400 which need to be resolved. Many users have experienced the CTD if and when using any REX related weather interface.

Sounds like you may have omitted turning on your window heat.
-
ok ...keep us posted thanks
-
Well I was able to perform a quick test, and so far all appeared to be good with no fps drop.
-
That is correct regarding Autosave functionality....primarily due to the way the Q400's FDE is modeled.
-
Have you tried running your FPS limiter at unlimited?
-
OK, lets have a look at the mjc84.ini and the first section should look something like this: [INTERFACE] ; GENERAL SUPPORT OF THE INTERFACES JOYSTICK_INTERFACE =1 ASN_INTERFACE=1 WXAR_INTERFACE=0 The last line WXAR_INTERFACE=0, could possi…

Hi JP, Thanks for the update Cheers

Ok, since we have ruled out FSUIPC, have you tried looking at your Display or World setting within the options menu? For starters try scaling back some of your sliders to the right. One can only make assumptions at this time not know what your PC …

Have you tried running the Q400 without any other utilities running. Normally the Q400 is not cause of a CTD, unless the installation could/may have been executed by not using administrative rights during the instalation process, however, there cou…

Thanks for the heads up.... Mike out of town at the moment and unable verify, but will be sure to have a look at it upon my return. Cheers
-
Are you by chance turning on the weather radar moments prior to CTD?
-
Good to hear that you are back on track... Cheers

What weather applications are using whilst using the Q400?

For one to attempt to get a grasp of what may be going on with your Q400, you left out the good details such as: a. Simulator version in use: b. Q400 Edition & applicable patches: c. Operating System: d. Possible ad-dons used along sid…

Finn, Good point, you are correct.
