Nothing so far? Can't be the only one.
-
Look into your device manager, in windows settings. If you only have 1 joystick it's 0, if you have two then it can be 0 or 1. Just try out different ones and see if that works,

Nah, the one time I had that bug was when not using GSX pushback (taxi out stand). Doubt that should be a thing.
-
Not sure but I have mine maped for the AP disengage liek this: J1_b1=AFCS_->inputs.AP_disengage J1 being my joytick number and b1 being its button.
-
The trick to hand-flying the Q is simply obeying the following rules "with every power change there should be a rudder input/trim change" Always stay coordinated and she's a joy to fly. Nothing like the default FSX/P3D aircraft that all fly like on …

Go DTO holding

I've had this bug (the one time it occured on my end) happen to me when loading the BOARDING state, which is my default. I did two 2h+ legs yesterday with no issues whatsoever. But sure, should I encouner it again I will give all the input I can to…
-
Not the cause since people with the PILOT version are getting this bug as well.
-
Yes, I've had this issue only once so far and have been rather active in tracking it down, providing Majestic with all the information I could gather. So far I did about 5 flights in the Q400 since this gear bug happened and haven't had any issue - …
-
if this happens simply go DTO again to the same WPT and check for any NO LINK lines in your active FPL.
-
That gear issue is interesting since it's not related to the pins. It's the handle freezing. Had a few flights in the Q400 last month and it all worked flawlessly.
-
On the FMS NAV page, you can activate the Approach and also the missed approach.
-
Also, it's the ARCDU (Audio and Radio Control Dislay Unit)
-
I'm using a USB hub and it works just as it should. The data transfer rate needed for the FCS is minimal so USB's should not bottleneck it in any way.
-
Of course not.
-
Keep in mind that A2A Simulations will publish their custom rain effects as an open source SDK - so other developers can implement them into their aircraft. Their rain effects are hands down the best I have seen so far. So that is worth considering.
-
No idea in that case. That usually did it for me. Also, are all your batteries on? The dome light should be hot-wired to the MAIN battery.
-
Roger that. Any news or maybe a small dev. update on when we can expect another PRO update ot even the TRAINING version? @kroswynd
-
If you are using P3D, go to your aircraft.cfg and change the following line to look like this. light.0 = 10, -11.0, 0.0, 3.5, mjc84_dome, // dome light. 3.5P3D, 3.0FSX In your main mjc8q400 folder you should find an additional aircraft.cfg for…

I use the respective T16000 throttles as well and find it rather easy to control. When on final approach you really waynt to make the smallest power changes possible, since the TRQ on the Q400 directly controls your lift/sinkrate (much like on a sma…

Welcome!

First of all, turn on the de-icing system since you seem to be iced over, second of all check your rudder and ailerons trim and make sure they are set correctly. If that doesn't help re-install the aircraft.
-
Are you on ground when encountering this? If so, turn off the cotrol lock.
-
Yes, I also suspect the AIRAC for some reason since that is the only variable that chnanged on my Q400 installation. And I had this bug occur to me when loading the BOARDING state which has the gear pin line included in the sript. So that can't be i…

Here's an update on the situation: I have now had several friends encounter the same issue during a very short period of time. Of those friends some have the PILOT 64bit version, others have the PRO 64bit version and had the gear handle freeze for s…

Thanks for the reply! It would be indeed a handy tool to have - especially for taxiing at more complex airports having the chart right there to your side is of great help. It also adds to the immersion I guess.
-
Also check your router firewall settings that those are not too restrictive, as well as the actual windows firewall settings (enable the ports there).

Wilco!

@kroswynd said: @freddy said: You and the team may already be heading down this investigative path … but, it seems to me whenever I see this mentioned, the person is a user of FS2CREW. That said, it might pay to double check …

I don't even think the pins are the issue here. Because if you try to raise the gear with the pins inserted the gear lever will move up, the doors will open but you just won't get the gear up (lights off). With that bug the lever itself does not mov…
