Hi Frank,
The only Flybe that I have is the Part B4 - Operations Manual - Volume 1.
I have something from MALEV but it is not as ellaborate as Flybe and I believe you have that Flybe Manual ; if not I'll send you a link to download.
I am the same, I was flying the Flybe, Autrian and Air Baltic routes and, unfortunately eitheir the Airlines or the Q400 disappeared.
There is still LOT which has some interesting routes as the Polish airports have been well designed in P3D so I carry on flying the old routes.
Have a nice day,
JP

No you don't do that. The LDA is the distance AVAILABLE as written on the charts and it is the distance that you should take into account. Then you have the LDR (REQUIRED) where the wind, mass, temperature, altitude, etc. give you your landing dis…
-
As said before, it depends of the operator but usually: 15° Flap is recommended as the standard setting for a two-engined approach and landing for runways of 2000 m LDA or more. For runways of less than 2000 m LDA, 35° Flap is recommended and is …

If the runway is contaminated the max Xwind is 14 Kt (Flybe) and with compacted snow 20 Kt. With 30 Kt Xwind you don't go there.

For TOff, in respect of the mass and the flaps setting, taken from the TOLD card in that order: V1, Vr, V2, Vfri, Vclimb Some adjustments depending of the altitude, Rwy conditions, application of icing fluid. Icing conditions: Set Vclimb bug+2…

Per Flybe, could be different with other operators:

Hi, That is correct you need the Level 2 to see the PAX: https://www.fsdreamteam.com/products_gsx_level2.html JP
-
Hi, When you are on the FPL page, press on FORMAT then press NEXT or PREV and you can see your route. JP

It would look something like that:
-
You set a pseudo VOR on the axis of the runway ro help you to see the centerline during your turn. That way you are going to finish your turn more or less on the axis of the runway. You are also going to "see" the runway if you are using the 10 Nm …

Hi Kouki, For a visual approach the right way to do it is to look outside and when you are abeam the threshold start the chrono: 45 seconds( depending of the Company) and then final turn. I know it is easier to do in a real plane than in the sim. …

You have a bit of information there: https://customer.aero.bombardier.com/webd/BAG/CustSite/BRAD/RACSDocument.nsf/51aae8b2b3bfdf6685256c300045ff31/ec63f8639ff3ab9d85257c1500635bd8/$FILE/ATTNBEOB.pdf/D8400-APM.pdf

Hi, These could work as well. Size A5. Only metric. JP

Hi, Rwy31 CYWG SID GRIZZLY2 ; ATC will direct you with vectors most probably to RORMA so you set Hdg 315 for take off and wait for instructions. If there is no traffic at all ATC could give you a direct to any WP up to TIGAG. When you are instruc…

To make it simple: Each engine has a generator for each battery and circuit. In case of engine failure and/or generator failure on one engine the batteries are linked together automatically. If this automatic link does not work you would loose el…

From Airliners.net forum: Airliners have several different electrical busses ( a `"bus" is an electrical distribution bar, picture a strip of metal with rows of circuit breaker coming off of it.) For safety and redundancy they are split up so a fa…

Depends of the fluid. see there: https://aircrafticing.grc.nasa.gov/2_3_3_1.html

You can descend in VS and follow the VNAV glide path and adjust your VS accordingly if you find yourself above or below the path.
-
Yes, if you want a 3° path angle. This is ideal for the PAX and performances but ATC could ask you to descend later than you want and then you'll have to increase your path angle. In RL ATC knows the performances of the different aircrafts and…
-
Hi hélico, If your path angle is around 3° you should not go overspeed. I assume your path angle is too steep. There is a rough rule: divide your GS/2 and you'll get the coreect VS for 3°. i.e.: GS 320 Kts = VS 1600 F/mn The prop to MAX during d…

Hi Niksan29, The only problem not to share it before was due to copyright. Now as Flybe is sadly gone I do not think there would be any more problem to share the SOP. JP

I think now it is ok. Sorry. JP

Hi, You have these as well. I am not sure if the files are attached. JP

Thank you Reinhard, I use p3dv4 so it could be different with v5. Anyway with computers softwares there are so many parameters to take into account that I could have something in mine that nobody else have which would be the culprit. As I s…

Hi Simeon, You could try this one: EGAC BLACA P600 GIRVA EGPH It freezees about 6 Nm before BLACA. If after toff I'll go DTO GIRVA it passes abeam GIRVA about 8 Nm and there it is OK. Thanks and regards, JP
-
Hi Reinhard, I uninstall all 3rd party airports in a 100 Nm radius and exactly the same problem occured. So it is not coming from there. I forgot to mention Prepar3dv4. Regards, JP
-
Hello Reinhard, Thank you so much for your answer. I'll have a look at your suggestion and I'll remove some airports around BLACA but they are about 30 to 50 odd miles from BLACA. Anyway it is worth trying and I let you know. Regards, …

Hi, An interesting document that I believe we can post now as Flybe does not operate anymore. The way it was with their Q400 (.pdf enclosed). JP

Thanks Boss, It explains everything especially: 2. as you mentioned "often" and you are right it is not all the time. Regards, JP

OK I got some answer on Navigraph forum which is quite interesting and very helpful if the case of EICK replicates somewhere else. Here it is: "Did you maybe select both the VAPA1G arrival and the ROBVO transition for the RNAV runway 34 app…

Hi, When descending ENROUTE with VNAV it works quite well even that most of the time I use VS to have it more stable (avoiding ups and downs too quickly and most uncomfortable). It is when using VNAV/LNAV that I sometimes encounter problems. If …
