Kindly address this issue with the developer of the utility

As mentioned we are not providing any support for P3D v5. Feel free to post any issues seen that have not already been mentioned. Installation via XML is also something that we won't support at this time.

Normally to change "volume levels", you have to edit the ini file. Found in the Q400 install folder; simobjects/Airplanes/mjc8q400/ini. Make a backup of the ini file before making any changes. Open the ini file in notepad. Scroll down to the […

good to know that the issue has been resolved. The Simconnect version for the dash is normally installed along with the Dash unless you canceled its attempt during the installations process. Cheers

@Snowfalcon said: Copy. As you know over at PMDG Rob has reworked the ground physics and taxi models. All of us got used to it in Beta test since it was very different than what the default taxi performance has been in P3D. After release of the …

The ice detection may at times may produce an erroneous indication. I don't recall off the top of my head how the sensor is coded. But I have had a few discussions in the late beta stages regarding this. If you provide a scenario or example …

We have discussed it in the past but need to look into other variables that will be affected based on the way its already coded. Not saying it won't change but its on the low priority side of changes at the moment.

Hello, Are you upgrading to P3D v3.3 or higher which is staying within the 32bit platform? Or are you upgrading to P3D v4.x which is the 64bit version, which you will have to purchase if intending to use the 64bit version of P3D v4 Cheers

@jodle and @Janis22 Thank you for the feedback, we however as mentioned will not be providing any support on the platform until we are able to address pertinent items/issues on our side. We do appreciate your post though as we have seen this issue…

If you bought a PRO Edition then yes - you would have a cold and dark panel state option via the CPAN. Could it be that you have bought the PRO as an upgrade but have re-installed the PILOT edition? The PILOT Edition never had a panel state opt…

While I do not have a good solution for you apart from the fact that using the sequence already in place to acquire the required view that you need is the best way forward. The Pilot Edition of the Q400 when designed was primarily for the simmer …

Great discussion gents, lots of input. So in a nutshell from the MJC side of things, modeling of the Q400 performance was/is an extremely complex task due to its unique propeller design, and it's possible that at some given weight, temperature…

Hello folks, I made an announcement a few days ago regarding our status on P3D v5 which addresses some of the issues that are mentioned http://majesticsoftware.com/forums/discussion/735/majestic-software-lockheed-martins-prepard3d-v5#late…

We unfortunately do not support issues with SPAD.Next, I have heard of the utility but never had the time to check it out. Have you tried reaching out to the developer of the utility? 1. Upon connection with your SC event are you both getting…

The cold and dark panel state is only applicable to the PRO Edition or higher.

@NoelCP said: It's true, you folks are the least helpful 'customer service' I've experienced in the entire flight sim world over 35y now. You're legendary! But you choose to be this way and that is your right. I like the plane I just understa…

Have you tried F10? This is merely the default 2D view within the sim platform. This also may be of help. http://www.prepar3d.com/SDKv3/LearningCenter/getting_started/view_system/using_views_and_windows.html#InstrumentPanels @NoelCP said: …

I think he is making reference to KJAC

Thank you for your input. At this stage in the game changes to performance parameters is not a high priority. We know that our product is not perfect, and like anything there can be room for improvement. I do agree that some of the performance ca…

Yes there is. P3D v4.x will have t o be purchased as most of the code had to be re-worked to be compliant with he 64bit architecture. You should still qualify for the upgrade fee on their site.
-
Hello Dale, For starters, have you installed the Q400 using Administrator Rights? Also, what version of the Q400 are running - 32bit (not P3 d v4.x compatible) or the 64bit which is P3D v4.x compliant?

This issue should have been resolved with the v11.020b update
-
And that is by design. Many of the basic FSX/P3D key short cuts are removed as the aircraft's autopilot is somewhat complex by design.
-
We have not gone anywhere, its just that not every post will get an expeditious response depending one whether a user or forum administrator is able to at a given time. Depending on the version of the Q400 that you own results may vary. If you a…

Be aware we will not support the q400's functionality under this protocol although it is a rather unique and versatile method for installing addons. Cheers.

@argentLamming Thank you for your kind words and input, we appreciate additional information to assist in creating a more immersive environment when able to. @alehead Thank you also for the the kind words. P3D v5 has been recently released, …
