She's a dream to fly and lots of fun after all these years

I haven't posted for a while, but felt compelled today to drop a quick one ...

I purchased the original Pilot edition of this lovely aircraft back in April 2013 when it was first released for FSX. I was not disappointed. I've upgraded and patched the aircraft over the years, going from the Pilot to the Cockpit edition and eventually to the Training edition ... including having to re-purchase her again when I jumped from FSX to P3D.

Present day, I am still flying in P3D v4.5 (yes, still P3D and not MSFS ... at least, not yet).

Whilst I do own PMDG, FSLabs, A2A, Flight1 and other payware planes, I still find time to get in to the Dash 8 when my available free time prohibits a longer flight or when the specific planned route calls for it. And I am never disappointed.

As an Australian, today I did a quick Dash 8 hop in the Q400 from Melbourne (YMML) to Mildura (YMIA), a very common Dash 8 route in this part of the world. And boy what fun I had! I love the sound of the engines, the takeoff and climb out, and eventually the exciting landing with the wonderful sound of the reverse thrust as the props change pitch and the aircraft decelerates before taxiing to her assigned ramp spot.

This aircraft is a damn lot of fun to own and fly! I am still loving it after all these years.

And the addition of the EFB (Electronic Flight Bag) in 2025 was a little bit of cream on top (that small and simple addition has made flying this bird even more easy and fun).

Thanks Majestic for the fun this plane has given me ... and continues to give me ... over all these years!

And, I am sure she will be just as much fun when she eventually finds herself in MSFS and MSFS2024!
