Thanks for the images but some information supporting the version of the Q400 and simulator in use may be of help to to folks reading the post and may be able to assist.
The only time I have seen this problem was while I was using a shader modifying software. Tomato Shade, to be specific. There are several others out there including the various sky texture/shader add-ons by REX and Hifi. You may want to begin your trouble-shooting there.

Can you confirm that restoring original shaders solve the problem with HGS ghost image?
P3D v4.5 and latest Training version?

Which version of P3D ?
EA on or off ?
If EA on, do you use volumetric clouds or legacy clouds (volumetric clouds slider to the full left) ?
